Guatemala -Panajachel-
And next, I moved to Panajachel. It's one of village around lake Atitlan. Lake Atitlan is called 'most beatiful lake in the world'.There's some village of lake shore, and we can go there across the lake.
In Panajacel, there's famous cafe, Crossroads cafe. The owner Mike is kind and friendly, of course coffee is really delicious, moreover cheese cake tastes supreme.
the word written by strawberry source on the cheesecake is 心. It means heart in Japanese.
I promised to send a picture of galapagos island with wearing the cafe's T-shirt I was given. Usually tourist has to pay money more than local, of course I understand it, but it's rare to be very kind for tourists like this cafe. I was so impressed. It's exactly crossroads for travel for me. I started to think about requital for favour for the people I met in the world from that time.
From Panajacel, I went other villages,
Santa Catarina Palopo
some buildings were colored by blue and some tradicional clothes were sold there.
San Antonio Palopo
all women wear blue cloth, sooo beautiful!!!
Santiago Atitlan
Mayan Indigenous god are still believed.
Market of Chichicastenango
Many Mayan indigene are still living, they wear colorful traditional clothes and wash themselves in the lake.
